Geologists Visit to the Quarries of Pembrokeshire

Year 12 geologists visited the quarries of Pembrokeshire and the open cast and deep coal mines of South Wales as part of their Natural Resources module. We would like to thank Pesst for their support and Mr Chris Evans for his consultancy and organisation. We had an excellent experience at the rock face and also an invaluable visit to the rock cutting workshop and to Ogmore by Sea to assess the classic unconformity exposed there.
